Whether you are buying your first pair or your thousandth pair of contacts, it’s important to make sure that your contacts are the right fit for your eyes. So that we can provide contacts that are designed for you, we carry clear and colored, soft and gas permeable contacts from several manufacturers.
Depending on your prescription and your lifestyle, you can choose from daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly lenses. If it’s your first time wearing contacts, our friendly staff will provide a training session to teach you how to insert and remove your contacts.
Each manufacturer has subtle differences in the construction of their contacts, so you can try as many pairs as you need to get a clear, comfortable fit. We will even provide you sample contacts to try at home, because sometimes it may take a few days for your eyes to adjust to a new brand or style of contact.
Because your eyes change as you age, you may find that your current pair of contacts is not as comfortable as it used to be. During the eye exam, we will perform a contact lens fitting so that we can recommend a new pair that’s better aligned to the shape, size and changing physiology of your eyes.
You may also find you require a bifocal, multifocal or toric contact lens to help you see both close up and far away. There are a variety of choices on the market including a monovision lens where one eye is corrected for near while the other is corrected for far. Multifocal contacts can help correct distance vision and near vision in each eye simultaneously. Ask us about which option is the right one for you.
